Dismounting of damming | Cutback of device made of elastomer, steel or wood to process the epoxy materials in the intended area and to prevent distribution |
Torque | Measure for tightening the bolts in the chockfast in Nm to prevent an overload of the epoxy (max 4.5 N / mm²) |
Alignment | Adjustment of e.g. shafts to each other to avoid high bearing loads and vibration |
Barcol hardness | Measure for the hardening of GFK, here for Chockfast to check the correct mixture of resin and hardener and their hardening process (GL specification for example 35 Barcol) |
Calculation | Calculation of the surface pressure on Chockfast material by using the weight of the machine and the tightening torque of bolts, also in some cases the stretching of the bolts is checked |
Chockfast orange | Epoxy for the marine sector, approved by almost all classification societies for shipbuilding |
