MIM Hamburg is a member of the Service Point Kiel Kanal (SPKC). 

SPKC is an association of companies for which the waterway serves as a workshop, in that it provides engineering services for passages through the Kiel Canal: The 8–12 hours ship's passage through the canal can be used to carry out repair and maintenance work on board.

On its specialist maritime portal  the SPKC acts as an agent for services provided by MIM and other participating service providers.
